Dr Harold Downing established Livingstone Street Clinic in 1919. His two sons John and David joined Livingstone Street Clinic after World War Two. Livingstone Street Clinic moved to its current location in 1970.
Livingstone Street Clinic prides itself in supporting doctors who provide a wide range of medical services, including Women’s and Men’s Health Issues, Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Travel Medicine, and Minor Surgery. Other onsite services include pathology, x-ray, podiatry, physiotherapy, psychology, dietetics, urology and gynaecology. Livingstone Street Clinic is affiliated with the University of Melbourne, along with Monash University and has a long history of supporting medical students.
We are an independent, non-corporate owned practice. We maintain high standards of facilities and services in accordance with our APGAL General Practice accreditation.
